Buddy Up Cooking

Buddy Up for Life is a nonprofit organization that focuses on positively impacting lives by providing adaptive programs for individuals with Down syndrome. I spent a lot of my time in high school volunteering with Buddy Up for Life, specifically in their tennis and fitness programs. I also helped create the Buddy Up Connections program when COVID-19 hit, and buddies and athletes could no longer have physical contact with each other.

Buddy Up for Life has expanded its programs in Columbus, Ohio to include independent life skills such as cooking, communications, and technology! I was so honored to take pictures of the cooking program in action since volunteering and Buddy Up for Life are both important to me.
